Description of Fody's Grilled Steak Tacos with Pico de Gallo
Tender flank steak is marinated in a blend of lime juice, cilantro and Fody’s Taco Seasoning then grilled to perfection! It’s then sliced and stuffed inside fresh corn tortillas and topped with the best homemade low FODMAP pico de gallo! These grilled steak tacos are so easy and flavorful and sure to be a hit at your next family taco night!
Fody's Grilled Steak Tacos with Pico de Gallo Ingredients:
- 1-1½ lbs. flank steak
- 2 Tbsp Fody’s Garlic-Infused Olive Oil
- ¼ cup lime juice (for the marinade)
- 2 Tbsp cilantro, chopped
- 1 Tbsp Fody’s Taco Seasoning
- 8 corn tortillas, for serving
- ½ cup Fody’s Medium Salsa, for serving
- 2 roma tomatoes, roughly chopped
- ¼ cup green onion, chopped (only use the green parts)
- 2 Tbsp cilantro, chopped (leaves & stems are ok)
- 2 Tbsp jalapeno, deseeded & finely chopped
- 1 Tbsp lime juice
- Salt & pepper, to taste
Directions for Fody's Grilled Steak Tacos with Pico de Gallo
To make the pico de gallo: Mix your tomatoes, green onion, cilantro, jalapeno & lime juice together. Then season it with salt and pepper to taste. Keep your pico de gallo in the refrigerator until you’re ready to serve.
To make the tacos: Mix your Fody’s Garlic-Infused Olive Oil, lime juice, cilantro and Fody’s Taco Seasoning together. Then place your flank steak in a shallow pan and pour your marinade over the top. Cover and let the steak marinate for 1 hour up to 4 hours.
Next preheat your grill to medium high heat. Once it’s hot, take your steak out of the pan and discard the marinade. Place your steak on the grill and grill for 9 minutes flipping halfway through. (Internal temperature should be 140 degrees for medium steak.)
Then cut your steak across the grain into thin slices. Serve immediately with your tortillas, pico de gallo and Fody’s Medium Salsa.
