Description of Fody's BLT Grilled Cheese with Pesto Ranch Dip

Who says a BLT has to be simple? Add creamy havarti cheese + a zesty pesto ranch dip featuring Fody Foods Ranch Seasoning + Shallot Oil and your lunch just got a major upgrade! Get ready for a lunchtime treat and don’t forget to save the extra dipping sauce to use on all of your wraps and sandwiches!

Fody's BLT Grilled Cheese with Pesto Ranch Dip Ingredients:

  • 4 slices sourdough bread
  • 4 slices tomato
  • 4 leaves lettuce
  • 4 strips bacon
  • 4 slices Havarti cheese
  • 1 tbsp butter or ghee
  • 2 tbsp avocado oil mayo
  • ¼ cup lactose free sour cream
  • 2 tbsp Fody's shallot oil
  • 1 tbsp Fody's ranch seasoning
  • 1 bunch fresh basil
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, roughly chopped

        Directions for Fody's BLT Grilled Cheese with Pesto Ranch Dip

        Prepare the pesto ranch dipping sauce first by adding all ingredients to a food processor or blending and pulsing until smooth.

        In a large frying pan or cast iron pan over medium heat, cook bacon until crisp, about 5-6 minutes.

        While bacon cooks, coat one side of each slice of sourdough with butter or ghee. On the non-buttered side, layer 1 slice of havarti, 1 slice of tomato, 1 leaf of lettuce together. Add cooked bacon in the middle, topping with another slice of havarti, lettuce and tomato + close sandwich with remaining slice of bread.

        In the same frying pan over medium heat, place each sandwich, then cover. Cook until bread is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes, then flip and repeat for another 2-3 minutes.

        Slice in half and serve with pesto ranch dipping sauce.
