Low FODMAP foods are coming to more grocery shelves in 2019

For the roughly 12 percent of American adults with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), the popular low FODMAP diet can help manage those troublesome symptoms.

On the rise as one of the most Google-searched diets in 2018, expect to see more FODMAP foods at your local grocer as more companies cater to the growing stomach-sensitive market.

Following low FODMAP diets used to mean pouring over nutrition labels in the aisles, but now there are low FODMAP third-party certifications from institutions like Monash University and the FODMAP Friendly Food Program, both based in Australia, to make FODMAP shopping a breeze.
