I was hoping to find a nice subtle soup base I can use without the gluten garlic and onion I can no longer have unfortunately theres so much salt in this you cant find any other flavor
When my 16 year old was diagnosed with Crohn’s a few months ago, we were worried because I usually cook with a lot of herbs and spices. We live in a small town, so finding stocks without garlic and onions was impossible. I bought the soup base thinking it might be tasty but will probably take half the bottle to season a meal to our tastes. I was wrong. It has a wonderful flavor that is surprisingly potent. I used a little more than the recommended tablespoon the first time, but, after refrigerating our soup, the flavors married a bit more and I probably will take it back down to the recommended amount. I’m extremely happy with all the Fody products we’ve tried so far, and they are lifesavers for people that don’t have easy access to low FODMAP foods. Thanks so much.
Having ordered and tried both your chicken and vegetable base, I can only say it is AWFUL! The primary flavor in both is salt.
