This product is straight and to-the-point: you want taco seasoning, but all the grocery options have the low-FODMAP, forbidden G&O ingredients, haha! This will do it for you if you don't want to make your own concoction of seasonings sans garlic and onion powder.

I wish they would sell these in the larger containers like the bouillon bases, this small jar is maybe equivalent to 2-3 taco seasoning packets. We like to season with our hearts and this came and went too quickly.

As a few others have noted, therre's nothing in the way of a recommended recipe or anything like that on the bottle or on the website. I personally would not use more than 2 tsp (yes that's teaspoons) of the taco seasoning per pound of ground meat. Between 1.5-1.75 tsp is just right for me, otherwise it's too salty. Tastes fantastic once you've adjusted to your preferred amount, though.

This is DELICIOUS, it has flavour and it is a bit spicy.

Don't make the same mistake I did. I figured I needed to use as much of this taco seasoning equivalent to what is in an envelope of Old El Paso taco seasoning. OMG, so salty and overpowering and inedible and awful. But this was MY mistake. I'm giving 4 stars only because there should be some directions on the bottle for how much seasoning to use with a pound of ground beef.
