Way too oily

The 4 other Fody products I have eaten so far (ketchup, balsamic vinaigrette and Caesar dressings, and coconut almond bar) have been surprisingly quite good, and I’ve been very satisfied. The marinara sauce though was awful. It was so oily that I thought maybe I needed to shake it up first. It seems like there is more oil than tomato paste in the product. This product needs to be reformulated.

This product used to be good

I used to love this pasta sauce, along with the other versions. The tomatoes used to be front and center and the sauce used to double as a pizza sauce (because it wasn’t swimming with oil like it is now). It was in a slightly larger jar. If you wanted to use it as a pasta sauce, it was easy to add a little more oil on your own to your liking.

Now, they put it in a smaller jar and added a ton more oil. The only reason it still serves 4 is because all that extra fat adds grease and calories. They don’t even use garlic infused oil. Also, now it can’t be used as a pizza sauce anymore as it is too oily to use under cheese.

I’m so disappointed, I just ordered a bunch of jars and will have to use them anyway but I don’t plan on buying any of their pasta sauces anymore— too bland and greasy. I always have to add my own herbs too.

Bring back the old recipe!
