This is the best sauce in my life. I never was able to eat things with onions and garlic. So this is top notch

Enjoyable

This sauce is wonderful on meats and roasted vegetables. Just the right amount of spice. (It has heat!) I often eat it with rice and whatever vegetables I have on hand. Chopped peanuts are a nice addition.

Delicious!

We used this for Korean tacos and the whole family enjoyed this! My mother who is a pickier eater even liked it.

Staple for my Asian dishes, just not really KBBQ

Please don’t discontinue this—I get worried because of the lower ratings. I’m Filipino American and since limiting garlic and onion, I use this in my recipes to substitute for some or all of the soy sauce to help add more depth of flavor. I’ve used it in lo mein and kaldereta and no one notices the difference! That said—the other reviewers are right, it’s a misnomer to call it Korean BBQ flavor. Still, I love it as a component of my other dishes.

And yes, if you don’t tolerate spicy food, even at a low level, this isn’t for you. That said, I would characterize it as mild heat, with some acidity—I can eat spicier foods, but I wouldn’t call this “hot.”
