The best (Safe) BBQ sauce I have had

Most BBQ sauces get really tomato-paste like when you pull out the onions and garlic, replacing it with ginger (also a trigger) or are overly acidic. The maple BBQ has the right mix of sweet and heat to feel like a real BBQ without the pain.

    Definitely not what I expected

When I received a maple flavored bbq sauce I expected it to be sweet. Instead it had a rather sharp bite to it that the other bbq sauce was lacking in. For most recipes I mix the other bbq sauce with mustard to give it some punch, this one doesn't need that (but still benefits from it).

    Wonderful

Finally, a BBQ sauce that I can eat and no horseradish!

    Not Quite Sweet BBQ

I am used to a sweet and savory BBQ sauce. For some reason the maple and tomato do not mesh very well. It felt almost too sweet and pasty like a marinara sauce. I felt the tomato was really thick which is not what I look for in a BBQ sauce. I'd like a more smooth sauce.
